- Mac OS X v10.4.11 or later
- iPhoto 7 or higher
- Hard disk requirement: 1MB
+ Installation instructions
- Download the YouSendItMaciPhotoSetup1_2_0.zip file.
- Double click YouSendItMaciPhotoSetup1_2_0.zip to unzip the package.
- Quit iPhoto if it is running.
- Double click 'YouSendIt iPhoto Export Plugin.mpkg' and follow the installation instructions.
- The plug-in will be installed in your home folder in
"Library>Application Support>iPhoto>Plug-Ins"
+ Quick tutorial
- Start iPhoto and select the photos you want to send.
- Choose Export from the File menu or Control-click on one of your photos and choose "Export > Send by YouSendIt..." from the contextual menu.
- Click the Send by YouSendIt button at the top of the Export Photos dialog.
- In the Send by YouSendIt pane, change the desired options: File Name, Type, and Size.
- Click the Export button.
- This launches the YouSendIt Express application. Enter your email address and password to sign in.
- After you sign in, enter the email address of the recipient and optional subject and message.
- Click the 'SEND IT' button to send the files. A progress bar will be displayed showing the file upload progress.
